class ORSModel.ors.DimensionUnit(self, pythonRepresentation: str, isPythonRepresentation: bool)

DimensionUnit.__init__(self, registrationKey: str, sUnitName: str, sAbbreviation: str, dimensionType: int, dimensionConversionFactor: float, bImperialMeasurement: bool, calibrationValues: dict, sDescription: str)

Note

If the registration key is empty, a new DimensionUnit is created with a new registration key and all the other specifications. If the provided registration key is not empty and not known, a new DimensionUnit is created with all the other specifications. If the provided registration key is not empty and already known, the DimensionUnit having that registration key is returned regardless of the other specifications.

Note

The static method getRegisteredUnit can be used to obtain a DimensionUnit instance from a registration key.

Converts from a unit to another unit.

Note

Conversion can be applied only between units of the same type.

Gets all the existing calibration keys of the dictionary of calibration values.

sCalibrationKey (str) – calibration key (a string)

output (bool) – true if the calibration key is one of those defined for the calibration, false otherwise (a bool)

getIsEqualTo(self, aDimensionUnit: ORSModel.ors.DimensionUnit) bool

Checks for equality to anotherDimensionUnit.

Parameters:

aDimensionUnit (ORSModel.ors.DimensionUnit) – a DimensionUnit (a DimensionUnit)

Gets if the unit can be converted in the other unit.
