In this example we will create a VisualRuler on the current select View


Creating a VisualRuler from one corner to the other of the current view::

    from ORSModel import VisualRuler, orsVect
    from OrsLibraries.workingcontext import WorkingContext
    from ORSServiceClass.preferencesapplier.preferencesApplyManager import PreferencesApplyManager
    currentView = WorkingContext.getCurrentView(None)
    rectangle = currentView.getViewBoundedPlaneInWorldCoordinates()
    ruler = VisualRuler()

    PreferencesApplyManager.applyPreferencesOn(ruler)
    ruler.addControlPoint(rectangle.getOrigin() , currentView.getCurrentTimeStep(),None)
