OrsCalibrationWithRuler_8cc062ebe95e4c3cb2ccc5a7d0caf2E4

Lets you calibrate an image, region of interest, or multi-ROI so that you can measure true dimensions. The known length of a ruler is used to update image spacing and obtain the correct values. To perform a spatial scale calibration, the dataset must include a fiducial marker or other feature of known length.

interfacemethod applyTransformationToRulerAndViews(ruler: VisualRuler, expectedLength: float, subtractPivot: bool = False) → None

Apply transformation from scaling to ruler and views

Parameters:
  • ruler (ORSModel.ors.VisualRuler) – calibration ruler

  • expectedLength (float) – expected length of the ruler

  • subtractPivot (bool) – sometimes it is required to subtract the pivot, when the origin ends up being too far in regards to the spacing of the datasets

interfacemethod performCalibrationWithRuler(anObject: StructuredGrid | UnstructuredGrid, ruler: VisualRuler, expectedLength: float, subtractPivot: bool = False) → None

Calibrate a StructuredGrid or an UnstructuredGrid with a ruler

Parameters:
